Love in the modern world. It's a perfect world and love is a little insane because "Love is the soul's spring rain" It makes you grow.

Yep, you guessed it. The infamous sign in San Francisco's Mission District inspired this one. It's all about a guy who falls in love and gets advice about it from his dog.

This one is about a father who left his daughter when she was 6 years old and came back when she was 12. It's actually a true story. Austin lives in Sacramento and she showed up at our Halloween party with our neighbor's children. You could tell she had the weight of the world on her shoulders but was doing her best to be 12 for as long as it lasts. Took all that and imagined what I would say to her as her father.

My wife, Carol, inspired this song. She always says my music helps her to sleep at night. Yeah, I took it the wrong way....at first. Thought about it, then wrote her a lullaby.
